Leasing the Temple

The Guthrie Scottish Rite Board of Directors encourages public use of the Guthrie Masonic Center.  A wide range of activities and programs can be conducted in Oklahoma’s most beautiful building.  Weddings, receptions, conferences, musical entertainments, plays, concerts, awards ceremonies, banquets, workshops, executive board retreats.  There are few restrictions to leasing the Guthrie Scottish Rite Masonic Center.

It is a nationally recognized facility with historical significance and is situated in the center of the largest contiguous historic preservation district in the United States.  Guthrie is the Victorian Capital of Oklahoma.

Events may be scheduled by contacting the staff and ascertaining what dates are available for rental.  Weddings with receptions also booked in the facility are priced based on the size of the event and number of patrons.  2025 Pricing for weddings start at $2500 for events with up to 200 guests. An additional maintenance/Security fee of $30 per hour is charged for all non-working hours the building is in use.

Rental fee and maintenance/Security/Cleaning deposits are payable in advance. There is also a requirement to obtain event insurance for use of the facility.

Bookings are not currently accepted for most summer activities, due to the lack of air conditioning in the artistic rooms of the Masonic Center. Optimum moths for leasing are Oct-April.

The facility is handicap accessible.  Smoking and tobacco products are not permitted within the building.
